Illustration workshop with Keerat Kaur (12+, In-Person Workshop)

An experience of weaving dreams through the alchemy of language. Inspired by the language-learning and illustrated book Panjabi Garden, Keerat Kaur will host a guided workshop that facilitates surrealist artwork and storytelling. This workshop takes inspiration from the Gurmukhi alphabet and the nature-themed magic of the Panjabi language.

The workshop will run from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm and requires registration. Art supplies will be provided.

Keerat Kaur is a Canadian-born Artist & Architect (lic. OAA) with Sikh-Panjabi roots. Her work takes shape through the disciplines of painting, sculpture, writing, music, and architecture. She gathers inspiration from Sikh philosophies to evoke themes of spirituality and fantasia. Her aesthetic lies in the realm of the surreal, merging mundane and dream-like qualities. More recently, her work has contributed to the advancement of language-learning and preservation.
