In this talk we will be exploring Guru Nanak Sahib’s role as someone who gathered and safeguarded Divine wisdom, illuminating the importance of the written word. On his travels he collected the writings of various Bhagats and Sufis, while also carefully documenting his own revelations for future generations of Sikhs. Through Baba Nanak’s example, we can explore the importance and need for archival work and why preserving the past can inspire and create pathways towards freedom and liberation for all.
