
We’re excited to announce that the Sikh National Archives of Canada is now accepting applications for 19 paid summer job opportunities. These roles are ideal for youth and emerging professionals who are passionate about preserving history, community engagement, and storytelling.
As a national non-profit dedicated to safeguarding Sikh Canadian heritage, we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team for the summer of 2025.
Available Positions
- 10 Records Digitizing Technicians
Support our digitization efforts by scanning, labeling, and organizing historical records and rare materials. - 5 Education and Outreach Program Coordinators
Assist with public engagement, education programming, and community partnerships. - 2 Library and Archives Conservators
Help preserve delicate archival materials and ensure their long-term care. - 2 Program Researchers – Radio or Television
Conduct research and assist with the development of multimedia storytelling and broadcasting projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Prior experience is not required – training will be provided
- Experience is an asset
- Some positions may offer the option to work remotely
