Sikh National Archives of Canada is hosting and exhibition and an event commemorating the 300th birth anniversary of Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, titled “Guardian of Sikh Heritage: Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgarhia (ਵਿਰਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜੱਸਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਮਗੜ੍ਹੀਆ)“. The event will be held at Ontario Khalsa Darbar, located at 7080 Dixie Rd, Mississauga, ON L5S 1B7, on Saturday, May 20th, 2023.
The exhibition will feature a collection of historical photographs taken by Sardar Jaiteg Singh Anant and other photographs from his collection. Sardar Jaiteg Singh Anant, a Canadian award-winning and world-renowned writer, historian, scholar, and photojournalist, will be our guest speaker, delivering his speech at 2:00pm.
The event will run from 10:00am to 6:00pm and is open to anyone interested in Sikh heritage and history.
